Leadership
Here are some of my leadership activities

Leader of Code Create
As the leader of the Code Create initiative at Chinese International School, I guided a team of 10 volunteers to teach Python programming to 20 underserved students through weekly sessions. My responsibilities included organizing lesson plans, managing volunteer schedules, and coordinating a successful hackathon that brought together over 200 participants to foster innovation and problem-solving through technology. This program provided students with valuable skills in coding and computational thinking, empowering them to pursue further opportunities in the tech field.
MUN Dep Secretary General
In my role as Deputy Secretary General and Head of Communications for the CIS Model United Nations Club, I co-organized two major conferences, CISMUN 6 and CISMUN 7, with over 240 participants from 14+ schools. I managed communications with schools, teacher supervisors, and external speakers, including a Georgetown professor and the consul-general of Hong Kong. Additionally, I led the development of weekly training sessions for club members, focusing on public speaking, debate skills, and resolution drafting, ensuring a high level of engagement and preparation for all participants.

Swim Team Captain
As Captain of the CIS Swim Team in my senior year and Deputy Captain in my junior year, I led a team of over 50 swimmers, coordinating training sessions and organizing team events to foster camaraderie. I worked closely with our coaches to plan swim meets and ensure efficient practice schedules. My leadership contributed to the team’s 4th place finish in the ISSFHK competition, and I was recognized with the "Most Improved Player" and "Sportsmanship Award" for my contributions both in and out of the pool.
XiaoHua Magazine Head of News
As Head of News for Xiao Hua, the bi-annual school magazine, I managed a team of six writers, overseeing the editing and publication of articles on current events and school-related topics. I also contributed three special feature articles and played a key role in distributing over 200 copies of the magazine to the student body. My leadership ensured timely and high-quality content, while also fostering a collaborative and creative environment among the writing team.
